Fire Ban - 12:00 pm - Resort Village of Elk Ridge Extreme fire hazard condition.   BYLAW 2024 – 10 A BYLAW REGULATING OPEN AIR FIRE   In the opinion of the Resort Village of Elk Ridge, an extreme fire hazard condition exists within the Municipality.     THEREFORE, Mayor Marg Smith-Windsor and CAO Michele Bonneau, appointed pursuant to Section 18 of Bylaw 2024 – 10, do hereby order: No person shall light, or start to allow or cause to be lighted, ignited or started a fire of any kind whatsoever in the open air. Electric, propane or natural gas appliances used in accordance with Manufacturer direction are not considered open air. All burning permits, if any, issued for the burning of material within the municipality are hereby suspended effective the date of this order. The lighting or discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited.     This Order takes effect at   12:00 pm May 27, 2026 and will continue to be in effect until further notification from the Municipality.     Dated at Elk Ridge, Saskatchewan this _27th  _ day of May, 2026.
